Wisteria's Christmas Pictures

Image
I can't say enough about Nat and LoveWhatIDo Photography ( http://www.nattakan.com ). She has taken so many great pictures of Wisty and I love her demeanor with kids. She is a roll with the punches photographer, she has two kiddos of her own. We first met when she photographed my best friend's wedding and have stayed close since then. I couldn't possibly let go of such an amazing person to be around, and as a bonus she could take killer pictures of my daughter. Can't wait to make this photo into Christmas cards this year. 🌲🎁🎄🎅

Our First housewarming Gift!

Image
I decided this deserved a post all it's own. Our realtor and long time friend Jess Horinger was the first person to give us a house warming gift and it will always be near and dear to my heart. She's the best, if you are selling or buying in NE Ohio you should go with her. https://www.howardhanna.com/Agent/Detail/Jessica-Horinger/67367 Also a special shout out to Michele Lux, the Money Maven, she was integral to our home buying process. Howard Hanna  gets 👍👍. Amazing company with stellar service.

Kitchen renovation

Image
The kitchen started as a typical 1950's, with built-in electric appliances. Our goal was to open it up a bit by removing some of the cabinetry and  taking out the old electric oven and stove top and installing a gas line for a nice new gas range. My husband loves stainless steel so of course all of the appliances had to match. Grey has always been my favorite color, so the whole house is a myriad of silvery, smoky and charcoal tones. Rich (my husband) also scored this grey subway tile that is an amazing accent in the kitchen. After pictures will come when it's all done...

Welcome home!

Image
On October 27th 2017 we closed on our first home. The process was long and at times it seemed as if we wouldn't make it through, but here we are. We rented a 26' UHaul and over the weekend not only did my husband partially renovate our kitchen but he rallied the troops and got us "moved in" (boxes filling the garage counts). Moving back to Bath Township is exactly what our family needed. My husband grew up here, and we have lived here momentarily in the past, and I'm so happy to be back permanently. We wanted the quiet and the yard (an acre and a half), and we were able to get both. We are already loving the deer walking through the yard and the type of comfortable quiet night brings.
